What are the Muck Dives?
We recently read a bizarre but very interesting article about the now-famous diving on the mud road better known as "muck dives" that explains that we give birth exclusively to a human error. In practice, the credit goes to a group of underwater photographers during a cruise in Papua New Guinea. It seems that one of the photo-sub on board had to dive to try to retrieve the anchor, lost during the mooring in front of a fishing village. Once in the water, his attention was attracted by the surprisingly strange creatures who lived among the rubbish which had littered the seabed.
Among the rusted cans, glass bottles, pieces of wood and various crap that "furnish" the dark volcanic sand muddy bottom, they found their home of funny to be extravagant, almost alien-looking animals really unusual. The guests of the boat were completely enchanted by this vision so much that they decided to change the travel plans and spend diving after the discovery of this new and fascinating underwater world.
