I am now, unfortunately, a few months since we returned from the beautiful and spectacular diving vacation this summer, spent partly in fabulous Marine Park of Bunaken (North Sulawesi - Indonesia) and we want to make available to all the friends of SCUBACQUEANDO some information about resort at which we stayed: the Bastianos Bunaken Diving Resort and Bastianos Lembeh Diving Resort.

The first is located on the beautiful island of Bunaken and overlooking the beach with views toward the volcano-island of Manado Tua.

It 'a nice resort, clean, comfortable, inexpensive, simple and some may be somewhat' Spartan as the bathroom has no running water, as indeed happens in most small Indonesian resort. In practice MANDI, Indonesian bathroom, it works like this: you are filled every day two cans of fresh water (in some places 1 with fresh water and 1 with salt water) to clean, pouring water on him with a plastic pan, and also for the discharge of the toilet. The first impact is terrible but we really fits in very short time.

As for the kitchen we must say that we were really good food always very good and plentiful, the staff was friendly to say the least, not to mention the services that we were data, such as the afternoon snack-based cakes and home-made cakes, tea and coffee always available all day.

The location of Bastianos Bunaken Diving Resort is without doubt the most conducive to achieving all the great points of the draft Marine Park and its wonders.

The second sister resort is located on the island of Lembeh now famous paradise for Muck Dive. This summer was still under construction, but it could already be noted that become decidedly more luxurious the first.

The bungalows, located in a dominant position on a small hill overlooking the sea, are all made of wood, really nice, with private bathroom with running water and showers highly enjoyable and have a beautiful sea view terrace, the garden is very nice And the always excellent food and friendly staff only!

As for the diving resort of both and, it must be said that the organization is truly efficient and flawless (equipment mounted and washed every day) and the guides, strictly local, are extremely courteous, friendly and very competent. So we believe a totally positive about that.
I absolutely acceptable price for the quality of service and astonishment of the seabed visited.

The boats are big, comfortable, functional and in operation and the most surprising fact is that the maximum number of divers per guide has never exceeded 4 people!

An important advice: if you go to Bunaken and Lembeh in these 2 twins Bastianos resort, remember that the transfer from one to another is completely free and perfectly organized directly by them, just ask at reception one day in advance, therefore suggest to take advantage!
