The giant trevally is part of the class of bony fish, belongs to the order of perch and can reach a length of 170 cm and a weight of 80 pounds even.

Big and aggressive predator, known for expressing great strength in combat, fast swimming among the coral reef where we hunt both day and night and sometimes pushes water so low that having to hunt with his body partially out of water ; eats both crustaceans and fish.

The body has a strongly convex dorsal profile, its color is silvery-gray or blackish dorsally, silvery on the sides and definitely lighter ventrally, the dorsal fins are dark gray or tending to black, long flippers are sickle and the caudal fin is forked.

May live alone or in small groups, the adult specimens usually live near the reef, while younger ones attend lagoons and estuaries.
