Francesco Visintin was Born in Prato (Italy), in January 14th 1975.
Water-sports lovers, Francesco have been swimmer and waterpolo player for over twenty year and also recreational freediver.

PhD and Mechanical engineer Francesco works as project engineer in the OIL&GAS Business.

In 2000 Francesco achieve is First diver certificate and in 2001 approaches underwater photography with a compact film camera and in 2002 with growing enthusiasm purchase he’s First Professional set-up.

Ceased in 2004 waterpolo’s agonistic activity, Francesco became more and more committed to enhance his underwater photography technique skills and started participating to UW Photo extemporaneous competition with encouraging results.

In 2006 Francesco approached the transition to digital camera and thanks his commitment and the support offered by his club (Centro Sub Alto Tirreno). Francesco achieved excellent results in competition that leaded him to be called to join the “Club Azzurro” Italian National selection in 2008; in the same year Francesco become UW Photo instructor.
In 2010 Francesco achieve Italian Championship title in Team with his model Martina Gambirasi.

Francesco is use to travel across the world for business and pleasure. He had the chance to dive in the Great Barrier Reef and South Australia, Malaysia, Philippines and Red Sea. Preferred dive sites for training are the Tuscan Archipelago and Portovenere’s park.
Francesco approach to underwater photography is aimed record Images to share with friend and to transmit emotions by means dynamic aspect of the capture, strong composition and original point of view.
